How to get to Guatemala
Guatemala can be reached by air from any major City
in the world.
International flights land at the airports of "La Aurora"
in Guatemala City and "Anacleto Maza" in Peten. Airlines flying
into Guatemala are American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Copa,
Iberia, Mexicana, Grupo Taca, Delta Airlines, United Airlines and
Aerocaribe.
An extensive national highway system covers the country
so that you can go by bus or rental vehicle, to any adventurous
encounter. Guatemala is the hearth of the Mayan World, an area of
nearly 500 thousand square kilometers, occupied by Belize, El Salvador,
Guatemala, Honduras and the Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas,
